The 1997 Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso 20x33mm in 18ct yellow gold is an enduring symbol of Art Deco elegance and refined craftsmanship. Its rectangular 18ct yellow gold case, measuring 20mm by 33mm, features a silvered guilloché dial with Arabic numerals. Presented on a 18ct yellow gold strap with a gold Jaeger-LeCoultre buckle.
First introduced in 1931, the Reverso was originally designed for British polo players in India who needed a watch capable of withstanding the rigours of the sport. Its ingenious reversible case allowed the dial to be flipped over, protecting it from potential damage during play. Over the decades, the Reverso evolved from a sporting innovation into one of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s most iconic designs.
